A Song of Magic and Shadows : ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

I started this story in october 2022 with a very specific public in mind : my childhood friend and I. I would draw a page on a sketchbook and send it to her. After a while, I had quite a lot of material and decided to publish it on Instagram. Unfortunately, it is not the most ergonomic way to read it since I choose the least practical format. And thus, this website was born.

The concept of this comic is : what would happen if the main character of those ultra dramatic supernatural dramas was mentally stable and a functional adult ? Not to say that Jennie (the main character) is perfect and need no growth, but at least she will not do something spectacularly idiotic like sacrifice herself without telling anyone (looking at you, the entire cast of Supernatural, Teen Wolf, Twilight, etc…). This is also why I named this comic this way, the juxtaposition of a very « serious » and self-important title with a comedic twist.

This comic was not made with publishing in mind. It was just to entertain my friend and to improve my artistic skills. I don’t want to redraw the first pages because it is a part of my journey, even if it is not up to my new « standards ». When you create, you tend to not like what you did in the past. But what the hell, I’m proud of my journey.
